Usui Reiki Practitioner Training

Pracititioner Levels One, Two and Master/Teacher.

Usui Reiki - First Degree (Level 1)
This degree is a permanent attunement to the Reiki Energy.
Once initiated, it allows a person to channel healing for oneself
and others. It requires no special invocation to "turn on" the flow
of Reiki. By simply placing the hands together, or on the heart
with the intent to give Reiki, it automatically begins to flow. The
focus on Level 1 is on self-healing and helping others. After the
student completes the required training, they are able to practice
Reiki and do self-healings. At this level, the student learns the history of Reiki, the energy system, the nature of the Reiki energy, the Reiki Ethics, the five principles or precepts, the hand positions, how to do a self-healing and how to provide a session for others.

Usui Reiki - Second Degree (Level 2)

The second degree requires further attunements to the symbols used in this level. After the Level 2 attunement, the student is able to channel more energy than in Level 1, and self-healing is still an important part of this Level - to clear out energy blocks to allow the student to become a more efficient channel of Reiki. At this level, the focus is on learning the Japanese healing symbols for mental and emotional healing and on sending Reiki from a distance.

Usui Reiki - Third Degree (Master/Teacher Level)

This degree is the level of a Reiki Master/Teacher of Reiki. The student may be guided to this level if they feel it is their path to teach Reiki or if they feel that Reiki has become a way of life for them and they would like to complete the 3 levels. This level focuses on the responsibility of teaching and guiding others in the art of Reiki. This is not a level to be entered into lightly but to be meditated on beforehand. The teacher should also be carefully chosen, as you will be developing a close relationship with them and learning how to teach, pass attunements, and how to support students through the healing process. You will want to choose a teacher that embodies characteristics you yourself would like to develop. For this reason, many teachers require an interview or conversation with the student before teaching them the Master Level. The Master Symbol is introduced and practiced.
